ORDERING PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS

Orders must have a minimum value of R500 ex VAT (unbranded items) to qualify for the prices reflected on the AlligatorShop website. For smaller orders, please contact us for a customized quotation.

All quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue. International clients should note that all quoted prices exclude local import duties and taxes.

Work will only commence once a quote and the AlligatorShop Terms & Conditions have been accepted by the customer.

The customer is solely responsible for ensuring the suitability of the products ordered for their intended use. AlligatorShop cannot be held liable for incorrect product selection.

All quotations are subject to product/service availability and may be adjusted due to cost changes before order acceptance. Orders are only accepted upon written confirmation by the customer. Payment of a deposit does not constitute acceptance.

Stock availability is confirmed only after deposit payment is received. As stock changes daily, no stock is guaranteed until payment is received and order confirmed.

AlligatorShop reserves the right to refuse any order. We shall not be liable for failure to accept or deliver any order, or delays in delivery.

Rush Orders: We offer a Rush Order service for urgent jobs at a 20% premium, subject to artwork approval. Timelines will be confirmed in writing before production.

Lead times begin once we receive all artwork approvals in writing and payment reflects in our bank account.

RETURNS & REFUNDS OF PROMOTIONAL ITEMS

Returns or exchanges will not be accepted without prior written authorization within 24 hours of delivery or collection. All returns will be subject to a 25% handling and admin fee.

Customers are responsible for confirming the suitability of goods. Branded or custom-made goods are not eligible for return.

Non-faulty returns are subject to a 25% handling fee. Goods may not be returned to our premises without prior written agreement.

Refunds may take up to 30 days. Returned goods may be credited or replaced at AlligatorShop's discretion.

Branded goods not branded by AlligatorShop are non-returnable. Branded items, even if incorrect, cannot be returned once branding is complete.

Returns on memory sticks are not accepted after collection. We do not accept liability for damages or shortages not reported within 24 hours.

SAMPLE POLICY

Customers must ensure the suitability of samples for intended use.

Samples may be purchased via your Account Manager. Viewings can be arranged at our showroom by appointment.

Samples must be paid for and collected within 5 business days of invoice. Unpaid/uncollected (unbranded) samples will be cancelled and returned back into stock.

Samples under R50 excl. VAT are non-returnable. Samples over R50 may be returned within 5 business days for credit/refund (if approved).

To qualify for return/refund:
- Must be in original condition and packaging.
- Must be accompanied by the original invoice.

Damaged samples or packaging are non-returnable. Branded samples, Memory sticks and hamper samples are not accepted for return.

CANCELLATION OF ORDER

All written orders are binding.

Cancellations are only considered if branding has not commenced, and will incur a 25% admin fee + R350 ex VAT per artwork layout.

No cancellations are allowed for branded items, custom or imported products.

Orders may be cancelled due to events beyond our control, including shortages, strikes, or natural disasters.

Branded orders that remain uncollected for over 30 days may be disposed of.

SPECIAL IMPORT PRODUCTS

AlligatorShop is not liable for delays due to shipping/customs issues.

No cancellations or refunds are permitted once an order is confirmed or deposit paid.

A 75% deposit is required on all special import items.

DELIVERY & COLLECTION

Orders must be collected within 10 business days from notification of readiness. Unbranded items not collected within this time may be restocked or resold.

At the customer’s request, delivery can be arranged via courier.
Delivery charges and terms are as follows:

1. Free Delivery
We offer free courier delivery on all orders over R1250 + VAT to the following main city centres:
Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, George, Port Elizabeth, and East London.

2. Flat-Rate Delivery
For orders under R1250 + VAT delivered to the above-listed city centres, a flat courier fee of R150 applies.

3. Outlying Areas & Special Deliveries
If your order:

• Is being delivered outside the main city centres,
• Requires delivery to multiple destinations,
• Involves special services (e.g., early bird, timed delivery, next-day),
• Or exceeds standard courier volumetric limits (e.g., bulk or oversized items),

a custom courier quote will be provided. This will be based on your location, the volumetric size and weight of the order, and the delivery urgency.

4. Delivery Timeframes
Standard delivery is via road economy service, with an expected timeframe of 2–3 working days from when the order is ready for collection at either our Johannesburg or Cape Town branch.

Please allow 24 to 72 hours for delivery depending on your location and order size.

5. Rush Deliveries
Rush or express delivery services are available on request. Quotes will be provided by your Account Manager.

AlligatorShop may split deliveries at our discretion.

ARTWORK FOR BRANDED PRODUCTS

To ensure the best quality branding, all client logos and artwork must be supplied in high-resolution vector format (e.g. .ai, .eps, or .pdf files created in design software like Adobe Illustrator).
A “vector” file allows us to scale your logo or design without losing clarity or sharpness — essential for professional printing.

If logos or artwork are not supplied in the correct format, we will need to redraw them. Please note:

Redraws are billed at our hourly design rate, and timelines are dependent on designer availability.

Each order includes two free revisions on artwork layout. Additional changes will be billed at R350 excl. VAT per change.

Extra logos will incur a fee of R500 excl. VAT each.

Important Notes:

Delays in artwork submission or approval may affect delivery deadlines.

Cancellations after layout has been created will be charged at R350 per layout.

No production will begin without signed-off artwork. Final proofs must be reviewed carefully for spelling, font accuracy, sizes, and logo placement.

Email previews are visual estimates — colour accuracy may vary. We match colours to Pantone values where possible, but consistency cannot be guaranteed across all materials.

Branding is not always permanent and may wear off over time with use.

PAYMENT TERMS

- 50% deposit required upon order.
- Remaining 50% due before collection or delivery.
- Goods released only upon full payment cleared in our account.
- Do not send a courier without confirming payment clearance.

Preferred payment method: EFT. 
No Cash payments 

Prices are subject to currency fluctuations and may change without notice.

Unless written account terms are approved, all orders are upfront. We may revoke account terms at our discretion.

Late payment forfeits any discounts. Goods remain AlligatorShop’s property until paid in full. Risk passes on delivery.

Collection/legal fees on overdue accounts will be for the customer’s cost. Interest may be charged at 2% above the bank’s prime rate.

WEBSITE TERMS OF USE

We strive for accurate product information but cannot guarantee all content is error-free. Inaccurate descriptions may be remedied by return of unused goods, subject to our return policy.

Branded products are non-returnable regardless of listing errors.
